Victor Branagan (M.Sc. M.B.S.) is the producer and presenter of Clearly Sustainable and has extensive experience in business with particular emphasis on social and environmental sectors. Victor is a Lead Coach and Training Partner with the European Climate-KIC programme which is focused on preparing businesses for a low carbon future. He works as a coach with individuals who are aiming to incorporate sustainability more fully into their own careers or their businesses.
He has years of experience in both education and training and combines this with his interests in entrepreneurship and sustainability to develop new programmes for a sustainable future. He has developed educational programmes in conjunction with a variety of partners including Blekinge Tecniska Hogskolla and The Natural Step, Sweden; the European Green Building Council Network; and Climate KIC the largest European public private partnership focused on the low carbon economy.
He is also a Board member of Global Action Plan International and on the management committee of Cork Environmental Forum. Previously, he worked as the Director of the Green Business School in Dublin, Ireland, a government funded programme that delivered courses on sustainability to those looking to upskill to meet the emerging green economy.
Victor holds a Masters in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability from Blekinge Tecniska Hogskola, Sweden and a Masters degree in Entrepreneurship Management from the University of Limerick. His earlier career was as a craftsman specialising in roof thatching and stonework in Ireland, UK, Germany and France. In his spare time, he enjoys making all sorts of things down on the small farm he owns in Ballyogan,, County Kilkenny, Ireland which is being developed as a collaborative social enterprise with other local social entrepreneurs.
